Standard Rates for Expert Business Editing and Proofreading: $75/hour, complex, medical or technical editing $75/hour. FYI - We use the Associated Press Manual of Style and The Gregg Reference Manual only (the best US business style manuals).
Proofreading: $5 per page or $50/hour, which ever is cheaper. Over 200 pages $3.50 per page.
Expert Editing: $75/hour this includes a Review, routine Editing and Coaching to improve your writing/editing/proofreading or documents effectiveness. Coaching services are via phone if requested. Work begins shortly after payment is received! (Helpful hint if your writing eBooks use a big enough font size so people can read your eBook on "6 x 3" smartphone screen. Advanced Editing: $75/hour this includes fact-checking/research, extensive editing for poor quality content that needs intensive care from non-native English speakers/immigrants/knuckleheads (less than grade 10-level writing) and scholarly research to verify important items where mistakes frequently appear like phone numbers, addresses, dollar amounts due to transposition or typographical errors. Work begins when payment is received!
Expert Business Writer/High-Performance Copywriter’s Rewrites, Overhauls and New Content: $75/hour for standard content and audiences, ask for a good-faith estimate for more challenging/complex content, niches or audiences. Content: Technical, IT, Scientific, Medical and all other difficult content is $75/hour. I refer to the best style guides for business, the Associated Press Stylebook and The Gregg Reference Manual because I mainly focus on business clients. Yes, I do have a Medical Dictionary, Scientific Dictionary, and IT/Technical Reference manual in case I need them for more complex assignments. Payments – All Credit Cards/Debit Cards accepted, although I prefer cash or check whenever possible. If you want me to use the Chicago Manual of Style or special voices please look for Academic Writers with PhD with a Google search. This is not my specialty, nor does it interest me in the slightest.
Friendly Terms of Service: Payment in full is required upon order. There are absolutely no refunds since you have hired an expert for customized work and everyone needs to be paid for their time, labor, and expertise. In the rare event that you need any minor revisions, just request them by email (100% accuracy is much more difficult on rush jobs by the way so always try to order in advance of need). If necessary, larger jobs can be paid in two steps at start and the 50% complete mark complete if necessary (paid in full clients are always prioritized), but payment in full is due at the 50% complete mark.
